And that has led us to wonder, “Is SEO still relevant in 2025?”.

On a deeper level, off-page and technical SEO approaches have remained largely the same, but our approach to on-page SEO content has changed significantly.

This shift is crucial when considering the question of relevancy, as it’s important to first understand exactly what has changed and how those changes can impact SEO as a whole.

So.. Now that the changes have been laid on the table, is SEO still relevant?

Yes, SEO is still relevant in 2025— it’s no longer just about search engines; it’s about total discoverability

Businesses that succeed now understand that ranking high is only one part of the equation (And one part of “SEO”).

The real edge comes from blending traditional SEO with geo-targeted strategies (appearing in localised and location-specific searches), building brand trust across multiple channels, and optimising for the platforms where your audience actually spends their time—be it AI assistants, niche communities, or emerging search layers.

In short, the future of SEO rewards brands that think beyond keywords, creating an integrated content presence that’s visible, credible, and relatable everywhere potential customers are looking.
