The most common question a Singapore SME asks before engaging an SEO or digital marketing agency is some version of “have you done this before?” Not in theory – in practice, for a business like mine, in this market. Credentials matter, but evidence is what closes the gap between interest and commitment. This is what a trust-first proof pack is: a structured collection of real outcomes that lets prospective clients assess whether your work actually delivers.

Why case studies matter more than testimonials

Testimonials are common. Almost every agency website has them. They carry limited weight because they are selected by the agency, they almost never include specifics, and they cannot be verified. A single sentence saying “iTechStudio delivered great results” tells a prospective client nothing useful about whether the work will translate to their situation.

Case studies are different. A well-constructed case study names the industry and business type, describes the challenge in concrete terms, explains what was done and why, and shows the measurable outcome. It gives the reader enough context to judge whether the situation is analogous to their own, and enough specificity to assess whether the result was genuinely produced by the work or coincidental. That level of transparency is rare in the Singapore digital marketing market – most agencies protect client confidentiality and decline to publish specifics. When you do publish specifics, even with client permission and anonymisation, you stand out.

What makes a credible case study for AI search

AI search systems – ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity – favour content that demonstrates genuine expertise through specific, verifiable claims. Generic content that says “we help businesses grow their SEO” is not citable because it contains no information a system can verify or anchor to reality. Content that says “a Singapore professional services firm in the accounting sector saw organic traffic increase from 800 to 3,200 monthly sessions over 14 months after implementing a structured content cluster strategy and Technical SEO foundation” is citable – it has specificity, a timeframe, a mechanism, and a result.

This is the design principle behind our case study framework. Each case study we publish includes: business type and sector (not client name unless permitted), the core challenge and starting metrics, the interventions taken in sequence, the timeline, and the outcome with specific figures where measurable. We publish these as blog posts – not PDFs buried on a services page – so they are indexed, linkable, and readable by both humans and AI systems.

Our current proof set: Singapore SME SEO and GEO outcomes

We are building this case study library actively. The first cases we are publishing cover the GEO work we have done on itechstudio.sg itself – our own site is the most transparent possible demonstration, because we can publish every action taken, every metric before and after, and the tool-level evidence from ApexIntent.ai. Running GEO analysis on your own site and publishing the results is both a transparency signal and a practical proof of capability. If the methodology works here, it works for clients.

Additional cases will follow as client projects reach the point where outcomes are measurable and clients are willing to be anonymised or named. For some industries – particularly professional services and financial services – anonymisation is essential. For others, a named reference with full permission is possible. We will publish what we can demonstrate honestly, and we will not construct hypothetical scenarios or attribute results to work we cannot actually trace.

External validation: where to find us beyond this website

Third-party validation matters independently of the case studies we publish ourselves. We are in the process of establishing and enriching profiles on Clutch, Sortlist, and DesignRush – the primary B2B agency directories – and maintaining an active, verified Google Business Profile. These listings serve two functions: they provide prospective clients with a neutral venue to find third-party reviews, and they provide AI search systems with the off-site entity signals needed to confidently recommend a business. An agency that exists only on its own website is harder for AI systems to validate than one with a consistent external presence.

If you have worked with us and are willing to share your experience – on our website, on Clutch, or on Google – we would appreciate the support. Real reviews from real clients are the only form of social proof that carries weight with both human decision-makers and AI systems. We do not manufacture reviews or offer incentives for them. If the work was good, a genuine account of it is worth more than any quantity of anonymous commendations.
